Jet Pack Attempt At Royal Gorge Successful

As mentioned yesterday Eric Scott of Jet P.I. attempted to jet pack over Royal Gorge in Canyon City Colorado today. According to the Rocky Mountain News that attempt was successful, only taking 21 seconds to cross the Royal Gorge at 75 mph.



Scott used a hydrogen peroxide powered jet pack developed by Jet P.I.. The H202-Z jet pack holds 8 gallons of which will gives it a max flight time of about 43 seconds, with a maximum distance of 1500 ft. Top speed is approximately 77 mph.
