AT&T announced late Friday via Twitter that they will be selling refurbished 8gb iPhones for as low as $49 or 16gb iPhones for $99. The phones will likely sell out fast so anyone wanting to grab one better hurry!



Now for the down side. The new phone does require a new 2 year contract as well as an iPhone data plan. And since these are refurbs AT&T warns that these are previously owned devices that have been unused or lightly used and returned during the 30-day trial period. Each refurbished phone is independently quality tested and loaded with the latest software to meet current factory standards. Some refurbished iPhone 3G devices will have minor scratches.
